Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

We are partnering with The Killara Foundation this Melbourne food and wine festival for an evening of cooking by fire.

A collaboration between chefs Telina Menzies, Jerry Mai, Bente Grysbaek, Emma Jeffrey and Kay-Lene Tan, each will create a signature bite using Indigenous and local ingredients. Think crocodile and macadamia with bunya satay, scallop and lemon aspen ceviche and a wallaby and bone marrow cigar.

We will begin our evening with a traditional smoking ceremony and welcome to country. Then as the night progresses, there will be performances from First Nations and local artists all curated by renowned artist David Arden.

Your ticket includes 8 canapes, dessert and a house-made spritz on arrival. Plus $10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Killara Foundation.

The Killara Foundation supports Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples by providing pathways to employment, cultural connection and mentoring, and support in navigating the housing and labour markets. Team members and students will come together with our Yarra botanica team on the night to welcome you, cook and serve you our delicious food.

Artwork for the evening has also been custom-made by artist Jennifer Kent, from Manamana dreaming to represent the different elements of the night. For more information on this piece of art, please head to our instgram.

Friday 28th March | Tickets $175pp (+bf) | Events starts at 6pm
