Yarra Botanica is a two-level floating bar and eatery situated on the Yarra River in Southbank, Melbourne.
Opened on March 16, 2022, our venue was designed to operate year-round, accommodating Melbourne’s variable weather with features like market umbrellas, lattice pergolas, heaters, blankets, and rugs. It offers panoramic city views across its two levels.
We celebrate seasonal all-Victorian produce and locally made drinks. Designed to share with friends, the menu has plenty of seasonal goodies with 90 per cent of our food from local suppliers.
From all-female operations to small family businesses, we’ve handpicked some of the best local producers to showcase the freshest of ingredients, so you sit back, take in the views and enjoy the freshest Victorian produce.

Supporting local is what we’re all about. Our menu showcases the freshest seasonal produce, celebrating local produce from artisan cheeses, sustainable seafood, farm-fresh fruit and vegetables, all sourced from Victorian producers.
Our supplies include Mount Zero, producing farm-grown produce including olive oil varieties – all hand-picked and brine-cured – extra virgin olive oil, pulses and grains, and pink lake salt.
Wattle Bank Farm grow their mushrooms in re-usable, recyclable buckets and use compostable and recyclable packaging where possible.
Red Coral seafood supplies us with magnificent produce from sustainably farmed kingfish to hand-harvested shellfish to wild-caught Australians prawns, and more.

Partnering with Drink Victorian, we offer an all-local line up of drinks, pouring a line-up of quality sips made right here in Victoria, from signature spritzes, to boutique beers and locally made wines. There’s also a range of non-alcoholic options.
